R Ramya (19 points) and P Divya (18) were the stars for the experienced Telangana side which had 28 offensive rebounds and pressured Karnataka with 23 turnovers.

M Gayathri had five steals to go with 15 points and four assists.

For Karnataka, apart from Ranjita (17), no other player got into double digits.

Earlier, South-East Central Railways women sealed their semifinal berth crushed a young Delhi team 62-47.

SECR rested the tournament’s top scorer Seema Singh but Sangeeta Kaur produced 23 points and Akansha Singh 13 points besides 17 rebounds to help the team register a comfortable win.

Kerala women overwhelmed Goa 35-17 to move closer to a semifinal spot.

In the men’s section, spurred on by India captain Vishesh Bhriguvanshi’s 17 points and four assists, defending champions ONGC thrashed Vijaya Bank 64-32.

Kerala Police’s search for their first win of the tournament continued as they went down 88-91 to North-Western Railways.

The railmen scored 60 of their points in the paint. Prashant Singh had 32 points, including 4 of 7 shooting from 3-point range.

Abdul Rahim Khan (20 points, 11 rebounds) and Jainesh Patel (16 points, 11 rebounds) both had double-doubles.

Kerala relied on their 3-point shooting, with a combined 9 triples coming from Anu Mohandas (17 points) and Jomon Jose (19 points). Shreejith Nair put up 21 points for Kerala and Jijo Thankachan had an excellent all-round game with 22 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.
