On Sunday, the Minnesota Twins’ starting pitcher faced massive bad luck after they couldn’t make it past the fifth inning, putting pressure on the bullpen. Meanwhile, the Houston Astros managed to make a solid comeback. For the team now, the Twins remain to be strong, amidst a heavy duty baseball season.

Rocco Baldelli says the the team should win

The Minnesota Twins’ manager, Rocco Baldelli said that for him, some losses feel different than other losses. He explained:“Some losses are different than other losses, This is going to be a tough one that’s going to bother a lot of people in our clubhouse, there’s no doubt about it. And I can’t think we’re wrong for thinking that. It’s a game we should win. It’s a game we need to win.”
There were chances to secure victory, however the situation was too intense with the Houston Astros continuing to fight back. For the game and the teams, the key moment arose during the eighth and ninth innings, when Rocco Baldelli decided to bring in their top reliever, Jhoan Duran. Duran was all set to face the bottom part of Houston’s lineup.

Twins' teammates explain what went wrong and what needs improvement

Griffin Jax, too, was boarded by Rocco Baldelli. He was brought in to face the stronger hitters, however, it never worked out as planned.
About the game, Griffin Jax said:“I know he'd been struggling on fastballs up pretty much all series,” said Jax. “Maybe he was over it and ready to get on top of a pitch like that. I'll go look at it in a little bit and see if I got it to the right spot, but you can't really second-guess yourself. It's over.”Meanwhile, catcher Ryan Jeffers said:“You don't want to lose that type of game, You can't lose that type of game. But we’ve got [Kansas City] tomorrow. We’ve got three night games against K.C., which will be nice, good games to get up for, get excited for. This early in the season, really the whole season, you can't linger on [things] like you can maybe in other sports. … The crazy thing and the reality of baseball is you've got a game tomorrow, so stewing on it is not going to do any [good].Also Read: "Still Have Some Aches": Brooks Lee Opens Up About Lower Back Discomfort As Twins' Key Infielders Are On Bench Due To Injuries
