Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC star Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, has accepted a plea deal in the wrestling attack case that shocked many fans last year. The 26-year-old pleaded no contest to one felony count of battery causing serious bodily injury after badly hurting wrestler Syko Stu during a live wrestling event in Los Angeles in August 2025. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Raja Jackson is expected to spend 90 days in jail and then serve two years of probation when he is officially sentenced in June. He will also have to pay nearly $82,000 in restitution to Syko Stu for the injuries caused during the attack. The case became widely talked about after video from the wrestling event showed Raja Jackson repeatedly hitting Syko Stu inside the ring after knocking him unconscious. Witnesses said the attack only stopped after other wrestlers rushed in and pulled Raja away.Syko Stu was reportedly punched more than 20 times during the incident. He was later taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including facial damage and a broken jaw. Authorities said Raja Jackson could have faced up to seven and a half years in prison if the case had gone to trial. The New York Post was the first outlet to report details of the plea agreement.

Raja Jackson wrestling attack on Syko Stu reportedly started after earlier beer can incident

Investigators believe the fight may have started because of something that happened earlier the same day before the wrestling show began. Reports say Syko Stu, while performing in character, hit Raja Jackson in the head with a beer can during a wrestling-related moment. People close to the event said Raja Jackson became extremely angry after that incident. Hours later, during the live wrestling match, things quickly turned violent inside the ring.Videos from the event showed Raja Jackson slamming Syko Stu to the mat before landing several hard punches while Stu was already unconscious. Fans at the arena could be heard reacting in shock as wrestlers nearby tried to stop the attack.Raja Jackson was not arrested on the night of the incident. However, police later opened an investigation after videos spread online and details about Syko Stu’s injuries became public. Nearly a month later, officers arrested Raja Jackson at his home in Orange County, California. So far, Raja Jackson has not publicly explained why he attacked Syko Stu or spoken in detail about the plea deal. The case has continued to draw attention because of Raja Jackson’s connection to Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, one of MMA’s most well-known former fighters. Many wrestling and MMA fans online have debated whether the punishment is fair considering how serious Syko Stu’s injuries were.
