Johann Zarco confirms new deal with Castrol Honda LCR to stay in MotoGP until 2027

Johann Zarco has extended his contract with Castrol Honda LCR for two more years, securing his position until the end of 2027. Johann Zarco will stay with Castrol Honda LCR for two more years, until the end of 2027. This deal, confirmed on September 1, 2025, means Zarco keeps his factory Honda rider status. Johann Zarco said on September 1, 2025, that he feels very happy to keep riding with LCR. He said,“I’m very pleased to confirm that I will stay with LCR for the next two years. This is important because we have big goals to achieve and great opportunities looking ahead to 2027. … We already achieved one victory with Lucio and the team, and it would be fantastic to experience that again, so we are determined to keep pushing for strong results. Over the past two years, Honda has provided LCR with great support, and we believe we can continue growing and developing the bike through our hard work. I’d like to thank HRC, LCR, and everybody supporting us.”
He’s proud of what they’ve done so far and wants to keep improving.
Staying on the same team brings stability, and he hopes to build on recent successes.
