In another story, she shared a scenic view from her hotel, Santre Dolomythic Home, in South Tyrol. The image showed mountains rising behind a pool area. She described the moment as a peaceful and cozy break filled with holiday spirit.

The track and field star also shared a short video of her family training together at the gym. She noted that everyone was getting in a Christmas workout, showing how fitness remains part of her routine even during holidays.

The 27-year-old athlete recently celebrated her birthday in November. Around the same time, she fulfilled a long-time dream by attending a live concert by composer Hans Zimmer. She described the experience as a special and unforgettable moment in her life.

Earlier this year, Schmidt reflected honestly on her 2025 season. After the German Championships, she posted photos from the event and shared her thoughts. She explained that the year had been very challenging. According to her, the season brought difficult races, valuable lessons, and personal growth.
