TheBurntChip shares candid reaction to Formula E EVO Session victory

TheBurntChip led Senor Frogs to victory, with his teammate Behzinga finishing second in the Formula E EVO Session in Jeddah on Sunday. Speaking to FormulaE.com after his win, Chip said candidly, “I’ve just now won, and my team’s won with me, so I’ll struggle to match this. But I’ll tell my fiancee that my wedding day will be better. Apparently, my mum was cutting vegetables in the living room so she could tune in. So, that’s class from her! I want to thank everyone for watching!”

TheBurntChip pens note on winning Formula E EVO Session

TheBurntChip shared a series of memorable moments from the Formula E EVO Session on Instagram along with a note summing up his racing experience. He wrote, “Senor Frogs back with a bang. Wildest experience of my life stepping into a Formula E car and ripping it around a street circuit with the frogs. Thank you to @fiaformulae & @jaguarracing for allowing me to have one of the greatest weekends of my life. Not sure who thought it would be a good idea to let us in race cars that go 0–60 in 1.8 seconds, but the streets won’t forget. And of course, I’m happy to say a cinematic masterpiece will soon be coming to a screen near you.”

Vikkstar, Behzinga, and others hail TheBurntChip

Formula E driver for DS Penske, Taylor Barnard, liked his Instagram post. Interestingly, Vikkstar bowed down to him in the comments, calling him “my goat.”

Reacting to Chip’s post, Behzinga, who finished second while racing for DS Penske, wrote: “Serious wheelman, couldn’t have been up against anyone else brother.” He also attached a goat emoji along with the comment. A comment from Jaguar TCS Racing’s Instagram page read: “Not bad for a newbie.”

Arthur Frederick of Arthur TV, who raced for Jaguar TCS Racing and finished fifth, also said, “So proud of you brother.” Stan Browney called it “Epic driving” in the comments. Max Kleymenko, who finished last, said, “Well done.” Emelia Hartford, who finished sixth, made a request: “So happy for you! But Quickstars needs a REMATCH! Let’s run it back.”

The EVO Session followed Rounds 4 and 5 of the Jeddah doubleheader on Sunday. The Formula E teams and drivers were there to support the influencers as they raced on a real track.
