The Jeddah E-Prix concluded on Saturday with Jaguar TCS Racing’s Antonio Felix da Costa claiming victory, but the celebrations continued for the team as it also emerged victorious in the Formula E EVO Session held in Jeddah on Sunday. TheBurntChip (Josh Larkin), driving for Jaguar TCS Racing under the Senor Frogs team, beat his teammate Behzinga (Ethan Payne) to register a win by just 0.421 seconds, setting a time of 1:28.212. Behzinga put in his fastest lap of the day, but it wasn’t enough for the win.

The race format was based on Formula E’s qualifying structure, with ten selected content creators divided into two teams: Senor Frogs and Quickstars. Chip is a YouTuber, influencer, and podcaster who creates gaming, challenge, and vlog content and frequently appears with the Sidemen and their projects. He co-founded the production company The Fellas Studios and has a popular Twitch stream.
Speaking after the win, Josh Larkin, aka TheBurntChip, said, “I have been working very hard for it. It does mean a lot. Honestly, I put in so many hours watching Mitch (Evans) and looking at videos of braking zones on my phone.
I think it paid off in the end, as Ethan (Behzinga) put in a great time.”
The top three fastest drivers at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit were TheBurntChip of Jaguar TCS Racing, Behzinga of DS Penske, and WillNE of Mahindra Racing. Max Klymenko of Citroen Racing picked up the wooden spoon as the slowest driver of the day.
Dramatic moments from Formula E EVO Session 2026
Izzy Hammond of Lola Yamaha ABT crashed into the barrier at Turn 13 while aiming to make it through to the semifinals. She is the daughter of former Top Gear presenter and British broadcaster Richard Hammond.
Taking it all in good spirits after being cleared by the medical staff, Hammond said, “My first thought was, ‘Everyone’s watching, my dad is watching, he’s going to cry or something. Can someone just tell him that I’m okay!’ It wasn’t a small crash. If you’re going to crash, you’ve got to really crash. I saw the wall coming, and I knew I was going to hit it at speed. It happens, but I’m okay. Richard did it, now I’ve done it. So now we’re even!”
Qualifying also saw famous TikToker Khaby Lame spin out. He was driving for Nissan. JUCA, who had driven a Formula E car before during last year’s EVO Session, collided with the wall while driving Dan Ticktum’s Cupra Kiro car and exited the race.
The Formula E EVO Session was streamed live on Formula E’s YouTube channel from Jeddah.
