Sebastien Buemi’s unexpected Monaco win leads his best snaps from 2025, family photo with three sons steals the spotlight
Sebastien Buemi of Envision Racing had a rewarding year as he ended his winless streak in Formula E by winning the Monaco Grand Prix. It marked his third victory in Monaco, which he followed up with a podium finish in Jakarta as well. Looking back at 2025, the 37-year-old Formula E champion has now shared some of the best moments from the year gone by, and what stands out the most is his podium picture with his three sons.
Buemi also posted a heartwarming picture of himself standing on the podium with his three sons by his side. The Swiss driver shares three sons with his wife, Jennifer. Fans also appreciated his eye for photography, as he posted several more stunning images from races across the season.
Explaining how he finally ended his podium drought, Buemi added, “It was obviously quite tricky at the beginning with the fight with Antonio [Felix da Costa] and Max [Gunther], but in the end the timing of the Attack Mode was good. I was able to make a gap and I was safe when Oli [Rowland] took his second one. I was able to read where the track was drying up, especially in Turns 3 and 4. There was lots of lap time to be gained, but you needed the confidence, and today I had it. I thought that my number of wins would never change, but it did today, so I’m very proud.”
The pictures also include one of Sebastien racing with his new teammate, Joel Eriksson, who replaced Robin Frijns in the team.
Buemi started the Formula E Season 12 on a positive note, finishing eighth at the Sao Paulo E-Prix, one place behind teammate Joel Eriksson.
