Mitch Evans is among the many Formula E drivers excited for the upcoming Monaco E-Prix. The Jaguar TCS Racing driver arrives in Monte Carlo fresh from a victory in Berlin, marking his record-extending 16th win in Formula E history. There are plenty of reasons to consider Evans a strong podium contender in Monaco, having secured four consecutive podium finishes at the Monaco E-Prix from 2021 to 2024, turning the latest one into a victory.

Mitch Evans ready to dominate Monaco E-Prix once again

Jaguar TCS Racing drivers Mitch Evans and Antonio Felix da Costa will represent the team at the Monaco E-Prix, widely regarded as the jewel in the Formula E World Championship calendar.Following his second win of the season in Berlin, Evans now sits second in the Drivers’ World Championship standings with 98 points, just three behind championship leader Pascal Wehrlein of Porsche.

Thanks for the love, now onto Monaco.”Speaking about the Monaco E-Prix, Evans said, “I always look forward to racing in Monaco and, off the back of our recent strong form and my win in Berlin, it is great to come into this weekend with some positive momentum.
It is effectively my home race and, having won in Monaco previously and been on the podium on multiple occasions, I can’t wait to race around such an iconic track once again.”Evans has claimed five of Jaguar’s six podium finishes in Monaco, including his memorable victory in 2024, which also marked Formula E’s first-ever team one-two finish in the Principality. Former Jaguar driver Nick Cassidy finished second and joined Evans on the podium. Cassidy has moved to Citroen Racing this season.Evans recently announced that he will leave Jaguar at the end of the season and will no doubt be hoping to end his tenure with the team on a high.

Where Jaguar TCS Racing stands in the Formula E championship

With half the season completed, Jaguar TCS Racing has won half of the races, claiming four victories in the last six rounds.
