Brazilian not to play in ISL

: Elano Blumer will not return to India. Not for the next two years at least.

Elano spent four hours at the

police station after last year's

ISL

final which his team won 3-2 against FC Goa at the

Nehru Stadium

in Fatorda. He was accused of abusing and assaulting FC Goa co-owner Dattaraj Salgaocar. He was later released on bail.

"There is an understanding that Elano will not play in India for the next two years.The case has been settled but one of the demands (from Dattaraj) was that Elano should not be allowed to play in ISL," said a source who has been tracking the development.
