ISL: Hyderabad strike late to deny SC East Bengal a win

Just over four added-on minutes separated SC East Bengal from a crucial victory when Aridane Santana struck to help Hyderabad FC secure a 1-1 draw in their ISL encounter on Friday.
Bright Enobakhare had finished a brilliant counter-attacking move to put the Kolkata side ahead around the hour mark, but SC East Bengal couldn’t see out the victory, which would have added impetus to their hopes of making the playoffs and provide a huge boost before the Kolkata derby against ATK Mohun Bagan next week.
The result also seals ATK Mohun Bagan’s berth in the playoffs. The red-and-gold side now has 17 points from as many games while Hyderabad FC moved to third spot with 24 points.
