Resident Evil Requiem - Leon Must Die Forever
Leon Must Die Forever is kind of a roguelike spin on Resident Evil Requiem’s main campaign with branching paths and no cutscenes. You essentially have been tasked to fight through areas visited previously throughout the game and defeat a final boss. In the process, you will also encounter stronger enemy variants, and there are five increasingly difficult ranks and a race against the clock.
The mode is quite similar to that of the Mercenaries mode from previous titles, and you have to defeat waves of enemies within a time limit. To achieve the same, you must upgrade Leon.
The difficulty of the mode can be adjusted to suit any playstyle, and it caters to both casual players and hardcore players.
To sum it up, the mode tasks you to make it through levels of increasing difficulty with random enemy spawns, randomized weapons, and permadeath.
Enhancer System in Leon Must Die Forever
One of the most exciting new mechanics that the developers have introduced in Leon Must Die Forever is the Enhancer system. You essentially have to fill your enhancement gauge by defeating enemies in order to unlock Leon's Enhancer abilities. These abilities are exclusive to this game mode.
