Adds that the preparations have been good and this series is important for them to improve their rankings in ODIs. Speaking about what the ODI team has achieved since 2023, he says they have turned home conditions into a fortress, winning their last four home ODI series. He highlights that this is the first time the team has achieved such a feat since the period between 1980 and 1990. On the rankings, he concludes by saying that the team can only control how it plays and cannot influence the results of the teams above them in the standings.
PITCH REPORT - Carlos Brathwaite is along the pitchside with his valuable insights. He says that from one end it looks to bat on, and when he walks a few steps down the track from far away, it looks quite barren, but there is some brown grass covering it. However, when he draws his attention to the other end, the grass is much greener and for that reason, he thinks pacers will have good control of the ball.
