Can't really write a lot about the Kiwi's batting line up. Most of the batters scored in single figures. There were a couple who got over 20 but they could not kick on. New Zealand will need a special effort if they're to defend this. Sri Lanka on the other hand, should chase this down. 

That's another fine bowling effort from the hosts! It was Thushara who started it off and then Hasaranga tormented the Kiwis. He was the pick but it was an overall effort from the hosts. Just what their captain would have wanted after electing to bowl.
