The Western illusion of a swift pro-Western shift in Hungary has just completely vanished." Fresh from a highly anticipated meeting with NATO Chief Mark Rutte, Hungary's new Prime Minister Péter Magyar dropped a massive bombshell on his Western backers. Magyar announced that his center-right Tisza government will absolutely NOT send weapons or military equipment to Ukraine. Doubling down on his predecessor's playbook, Magyar also re-imposed illegal grain bans on Ukrainian imports and pulled out of the EU's latest multi-billion-dollar funding scheme.
