Hasan bowls this one fuller, on middle and leg. Kusal Mendis gets down on his one knee and tries to sweep it, but the ball catches the top edge and goes toward the deep backward square leg fielder. Saif Hassan is the man who judges the catch well and snaffles it safely into his hands.

Taskin Ahmed to Pathum Nissanka, OUT! CAUGHT! Taskin Ahmed breaks through and he lets out a big roar! Angled into the right-hander, on a back of a length. Pathum looks to make use of the angle and pick it up off the pads as he did earlier in the over. The shot was on, given the short boundary behind square on the leg side. Nissanka gets it right off the toe end of the bat and skies it in front of deep mid-wicket. Saif Hassan runs across to his right in the deep and takes a safe catch at chest height. Pathum falls for 22 (15) and Sri Lanka are now 44/1 after 5 overs.

Taskin Ahmed to Pathum Nissanka, Fuller in length, in the channel on off. Nissanka is a bit tentative to get on the front foot. Ends up chopping it down beside the wicket on the off side and wants to sneak in a quick single but Mendis says no. A wise decision from Kusal as Taskin was quick to get to the ball.
