We are back for the chase! Scotland Under-19 players are in a huddle, where the skipper is giving a last-minute pep talk to get his team pumped up before they take the field. Ali Hasan Baloch and Sameer Minhas are the two openers for Pakistan Under-19. Shlok Thaker to start proceedings with the ball. Here we go...
... THE RUN CHASE ...
Despite the collapse, Scotland Under-19 showed grit in the lower order to bat through nearly the full quota. Late contributions from Ollie Jones, Manu Saraswat and Finlay Jones helped push the total toward respectability. However, the consistent pressure from the Pakistani bowlers eventually proved too much, and Scotland was bundled out for 187 runs. Looks well under par but with overcast conditions, we expect them to give a tough fight. If they manage to pick up a couple of wickets in the first 10 overs, we are in for a good match. Stay tuned for the chase.
The tone was set from the very first over of the match, which saw two wickets fall in quick succession. Following that initial shock, Ali Raza bowled with immense pace and aggression, leaving the Scottish openers, Thomas Knight and Rory Grant, struggling just to make contact. While the pair managed to survive the new-ball burst from Raza and Sayyam, they were frequently beaten for pace and movement, unable to mount any significant counter-attack.
Led by a relentless bowling attack, Pakistan dominated the Scottish lineup, with Ali Raza and Momin Qamar providing the standout performances. The pace and spin duo proved to be a lethal combination. Raza’s fiery seam bowling earned him a four-wicket haul, while Qamar’s crafty left-arm spin accounted for three vital dismissals. Supporting roles from Mohammad Sayyam and Abdul Subhan, who chipped in with one and two wickets respectively, ensured that Scotland never found their rhythm.
Advantage Pakistan as we head into the innings break. They opted to bowl first under overcast conditions and have done an excellent job to keep Scotland under 200. They could have bowled out them to a much relative score had they grabbed onto their chances but still a pretty good job from them.
Pakistan have been penalised as they failed to complete the full quota in the given time. They will have to bring in one extra fielder inside the circle.

He doesn't even bother to get back. The keeper, Hamza Zahoor underarms and hits at his end. Ramsay eventually turns but he is too late by then. The replay confirms the same. Scotland Under-19 nine down now.
