Debutant Dani Gibson showed promise with figures of 2/40 in her 4 overs, while Kashvee Gautam claimed a single scalp, conceding 30 runs in her 4 overs. Unfortunately, the rest of the Gujarat's bowling unit struggled to contain the Mumbai's batting onslaught. With a formidable total of 213 runs on the board, the Mumbai have secured a crucial advantage in this knockout fixture. The pressure now shifts to the Gujarat, who must bat exceptionally well to chase down this mammoth target.

After being asked to bat first, Mumbai opted to reunite their original opening pair, Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews. Yastika began promisingly, scoring 15 runs before debutant Dani Gibson dismissed her in the fifth over.
