Rajasthan Royals (RR) batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi moved to the top of the IPL 2026 Orange Cap standings after his 93-run knock against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Tuesday.
Vaibhav smashed 93 off just 38 balls during RR’s chase and now has 579 runs from 13 matches this season at a strike rate of 236.32.
The young RR batter went past
Heinrich Klaasen, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill to claim the top spot in the run-scorers list.
Meanwhile, LSG opener
Mitchell Marsh also climbed the standings after scoring 96 off 57 balls in the first innings of the same match.
Marsh now has 563 runs from 13 innings this season at a strike rate of 163.18, moving to second place in the Orange Cap race.
Klaasen, who had moved to the top after scoring 47 runs against Chennai Super Kings on Monday, has now slipped to third place. The SRH batter has 555 runs from 13 matches at a strike rate of 155.89.
Sai Sudharsan is fourth with 553 runs from 13 innings at a strike rate of 157.83.
GT captain Shubman Gill has dropped to fifth place. Gill has scored 552 runs from 12 matches this season at a strike rate of 160.46.
