Sundar and Ashwin key to India's survival hopes
Washington Sundar (33*) and R Ashwin (8*) stitched a good 32-run partnership for the seventh wicket in the final session on Day 3. India will be heavily relying on them now if they are to avoid a follow-on on Day 4. India still need 122 runs to avoid an embarrassing follow-on. The hosts still trail by 321 runs in the first innings. For England, it will be interesting to see whether they take the second new ball straightaway, which will be available after 6 overs or will they carry on with the old ball which has been helpful for their spinners.

We have had some soft dismissals. The way I got out and how Jinks (Ajinkya Rahane) got out. Ash and Washington are batting well. There is a bit of spin but still a good pitch to bat on. Day 4 will be crucial
