Shubman Gill looking in excellent touch. Collects a couple of boundaries off James Anderson's over. Twice Anderson drifted down the leg side in the over and Gill wasted no time on both the occasions. IND 35/1

FOUR! A boundary from Shubman Gill to end the first over from Jofra Archer. The speedster digs the ball in short and Gill was ready for it . Pulls it on the front foot in the deep square-leg region to pick up his first boundary. IND 10/2

A tight over first up from James Anderson. Just a couple of runs from it. Openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are both off the mark. Jofra Archer to share the new ball with Anderson from the other end. IND 2/0

Openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are out in the middle to start the India innings. James Anderson has the new ball in hand for England. Three slips and a gully in place for him. Here we go!

And, Ashwin gets the final wicket of James Anderson. England end their first innings at 578 and India will finally have a sigh of relief. A massive first innings total set by England. India batting line-up will now have a lot to do and a lot will rest upon the shoulders of the top-order batsmen. The pitch has started to turn a lot more and England pacers led by experienced James Anderson will try to get the most with the new ball. For India, Jasprit Bumrah and Ashwin got three wickets each while Ishant Sharma and Shahbaz Nadeem also added a couple of wickets to their name.

India continue with Ashwin with the third new ball and he gives away 9 runs in his over including 4 byes. But he almost castled Jimmy Anderson on the final ball of his over. England still managing to add crucial runs to their total. ENG 576/9

Once again, a cracking youker from Jasprit Bumrah but the batsman gets away with it. Yesterday, it was Ben Stokes and today it's Leach. Just gets the bat down in time. Bumrah has given his heart out but has not been as successful in terms of wickets in his home Test debut. ENG 561/8 after 183.4 overs.
