India vs Pakistan highlights, Asia Cup 2025 Super Four: Opener Abhishek Sharma played a sensational 74 off 39 balls to guide India to a six-wicket win over Pakistan in the Super Fours clash of the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. This chase also became India’s highest successful T20I pursuit against Pakistan, keeping their unbeaten streak intact.

Pakistan posted a competitive 171/5, with Sahibzada Farhan top-scoring with 58 and Faheem Ashraf adding a quickfire 20*. India began their chase aggressively, with Sharma smashing the very first ball of the innings from Shaheen Afridi over fine leg for six. Shubman Gill complemented him with a quick 47 off 28 balls, as the opening duo put on a 105-run partnership that put Pakistan on the back foot.
After a brief interruption for Gill’s cramps and an early drinks break, Pakistan made inroads by removing both Gill and Suryakumar Yadav in quick succession. Sharma, however, kept India ahead with powerful hitting, including two sixes off Abrar Ahmed, before eventually getting out to long-on.
In the final phase, Tilak Varma (30*) and Hardik Pandya ensured India completed the chase with seven balls to spare, calmly rotating strike and punishing loose deliveries. Despite the wickets, India maintained composure and dominated the chase, leaving Pakistan with no answer to their strong batting display.
