...THE CHASE...
South Africa have made justice to their decision to bowl first. Honestly, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary but South Africa kept it simple and executed their plans, which eventually resulted in wickets. Lungi Ngidi and Nandre Burger didn't get much assistance with the new ball. However, they built enough pressure to make England play too many shots, shots that weren't necessarily required. The conditions did get a bit cloudy later on and Wiaan Mulder struck on consecutive deliveries. Keshav Maharaj showed why he is the number 1-ranked ODI bowler in the world right now as he chipped in with four wickets to get rid of the tail. South Africa have done half of the job. They'll be certain to get the result out of this game unless England come up with a special bowling and fielding effort. Stay tuned for the chase.
