All is set for this sixth match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Before we see the action, both teams come out and line up for their respective national anthems. The match officials are being followed by the players. It will be New Zealand's first, followed by the national anthem of Bangladesh. 

Bangladesh's captain Najmul Hossain Shanto admits he would have preferred to bowl first but feels the pitch looks good for batting. He confirms two changes to the team, with Mahmudullah and Nahid Rana coming in for Soumya Sarkar and Tanzim Hasan Sakib. Shanto expresses excitement about Nahid Rana, praising his impressive bowling performance over the past few years. He highlights the confidence gained from their strong batting in the middle overs against India and emphasizes the need to handle the new ball well in this match.

Mitchell Santner, the skipper of New Zealand, says that they are going to bowl first as the wicket looks good and it will get better for batting. Adds that there is a bit of dew in the evening and under the lights, the ball will get some skid on. Informs that there are two changes Kyle Jamieson is in for Nathan Smith and unfortunately Daryl Mitchell is out because of illness and Rachin Ravindra is in. Further adds that it has been a good few days including winning the Tri-nation series and it is a different challenge today but they are quick to adapt and want to win it. Talks about the form of Tom Latham as he is a class player and knows how to adapt to big situations. Concludes it by saying that Bangladesh is a good side and they are ready for a good challenge.
