U Yadav to Mithun, OUT! Wicket number 3 goes down! Umesh bowled the first one in the fuller region and then immediately shortens it to surprise the batsman. Mithun probably picks the length late and is hurried into his pull shot. He mistimes it in the air towards short mid-wicket where Mohammed Shami moves back a bit and pouches the catch safely. Maybe, that hit on the head was still replaying in his mind. He could have either left it or pulled it with more conviction. But that fear didn't allow him to get on top of the bounce properly. If you remember, Mithun was out in a similar fashion in the second innings in Indore as well. Definitely a technical deficiency. India have struck early after Tea and Bangladesh continue to go downhill.

U Yadav to Mithun, Fine delivery and a good shot as well. Full and angling in on middle, it straightens a touch after landing, Mithun presents a straight bat and pushes it down the ground. The mid on fielder chases it and the batsmen take a couple of runs.

We're back for the final session of the second day which also could be the last day of this Test match. The way the pink ball is moving and the rhythm with which the Indian bowlers have bowled so far, it's pointing towards a quick finish. Will we get one? Umesh Yadav to steam in...

... DAY 2, THIRD SESSION ...

17:42 (IST) Nov 23

An excellent session of Test cricket. As soon as the new ball was taken during India's batting, the much-talked about pink ball started to show its magic. Virat Kohli decided to declare after a lead of 241. Having lost 4 wickets for 23 runs the movement of the pink ball under lights might have also played a part in his decision. It proved to be a good call as the new ball did move viciously for India as well. Ishant Sharma managed to get two wickets in the 5 overs they bowled and also scared the visitors with his sharp bouncers. Bangladesh have a mammoth task in hand as they are still staring down at a big deficit and have already lost Shadman Islam and skipper Mominul Haque. Can Bangladesh fight out the day/evening or will this be the last day of this historic Test? Join us after the break to find out.

Bang on the helmet! Yet another victim of concussion in this Test? Surely not. Bangladesh don't have enough batsmen left in their squad. The physio rushes out. The mandatory concussion test is going on. Mohammad Mithun is looking fine but then Liton Das was also fine when tested but later felt the effect on Day 1. They need to be careful here. An extended conversation is going on between Mithun, physio and the umpires. Maybe, the officials want the batsman to go off if he is feeling dazed and allow the match to resume. Decision is made. Mithun is staying. Around 3 minutes left on the clock for Tea.

I Sharma to Mithun, Nasty! That must have shook him. Bouncer! A vicious one from Ishant. Mithun looks to duck under it but he is a bit late to do so. The ball hits him hard on his helmet. The Indian players go straight up to him and check on him. He looks a bit shocked as well. The physio is called upon. Let us hope that he is fine to continue as we have already seen two concussion-based substitutes in this game.

I Sharma to Mithun, NOT OUT! India continue to save their review but keep on failing to overturn the decision. Good length ball pitching on off, Mithun looks to flick but misses. The ball hits him on the front pad. The Indian players put in a loud appeal but the umpire is unmoved. Kohli signals the 'T'. Replay rolls in and it shows that the ball was going onto clip the leg pole. It is umpire's call.

17:31 (IST) Nov 23

DRS time yet again! Ishant Sharma roars in an appeal, he thinks he has trapped the striker in front. The umpire remains unmoved. Virat Kohli has a word with his bowler and then signals the T. Is it missing leg? Or clipping? Or hitting? The impact is in line but it's clipping the leg stump. Umpire's call.
