Back of a length, not short at all and not that wide of the off stump either, Inglis stays inside the line and forces the ball away off the back foot and just to the left of the man at sweepers. The timing is so good that the fielder there has no chance to cut off the boundary.

Mohammad Hasnain to Steven Smith, FOUR! The fast hands and classical wrists of Steven Smith and the 50 comes up for Australia as well. Bowled on a good length and wide of the off stump, Smith just reaches out and strokes it with an open face of the bat and wide of point for a boundary.

Shaheen Afridi to Matthew Short, OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and Matthew Short will be kicking himself. Short and wide from Shaheen Afridi, there to be put away but Short's feet don't move and he just throws his hands at it. The ball gets sliced flat and to the right of Babar Azam at cover-point but he does well to snare a sharp chance with both hands. Short throws away a fine start and Shaheen Afridi picks up his second wicket.

Naseem Shah to Steven Smith, FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries to finish the over! Overcompensating with the half-volley outside off, Steven Smith with a lovely cover drive, nailing it through covers for a boundary.

Naseem Shah brings out the bumper now and bowls it over middle, Matthew Short crunches the pull shot but gets it flat and just to the right of deep square leg. Shaheen moves to his right and seems a bit off-balanced as the ball bursts through his hand and trickles into the fence.

Just a touch fuller from Shaheen Afridi bowling it on middle and leg and this one angles away a touch. Jake looks to play with a straight bat and drive down the ground but plays all over it and gets pinged on the pads. There is a loud appeal and the finger is raised. Jake has a word with Short about whether that pitched outside leg but starts walking back after a bright start, such a shame.
