She praised the wicket, noting it had something for the spinners, and was pleased with her contribution to the team's success. Wareham highlighted Alana King's success in the middle overs and expressed confidence in Australia's ability to chase down the target, emphasizing the need to start well.

The Australians bowled 7 maidens in total, with Alana King accounting for 4 of them. This disciplined bowling performance was a key factor in limiting Bangladesh's scoring opportunities. The Bangladesh batters, apart from Rubya Haider and Sobhana Mostary, seemed to lack the necessary skills to counter the Australian spinners, who bowled with precision and control.

However, the Bangladesh batters struggled to cope with the Australian spinners, who were nothing short of lethal. The spinners' mastery was evident in the way they restricted the Bangladesh batters, exposing the skill gap between the two teams. Alana King and Georgia Wareham were the pick of the bowlers, each taking 2 wickets while being extremely economical. King's 2/18 and Wareham's 2/22 were instrumental in keeping the Bangladesh batters under pressure. Annabel Sutherland and Ashleigh Gardner took a couple each as well but they leaked runs. Bangladesh's innings may have been a mixed bag, but they have managed to post a competitive total of 198. The openers laid a solid foundation, and Rubya Haider's aggressive batting was a highlight, even if it was aided by some sloppy fielding from the Australians. Rubya Haider's knock of 44 was a crucial contribution but it was Sobhana Mostary's unbeaten 66 that helped the Asian side post something in touching distance of 200. Sobhana's half-century showcased her batting prowess.
