Tory Lanez Sues Prison After Brutal 16-Stab Attack

Rapper Tory Lanez has filed a $100 million lawsuit against the California prison system, alleging negligence after he was stabbed 16 times in a brutal 2025 attack by inmate Santino Casio. The lawsuit claims prison officials ignored known risks by housing him with a violent offender, leading to a life-threatening assault that left Lanez with a collapsed lung. Currently serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, Lanez also alleges that prison authorities seized and failed to return his unpublished songbooks.
