'Strong General': Trump Admits Ex-Iran Gen. Soleimani's Power; 'We Wouldn't Have Been Successful'

U.S. President Donald Trump has reignited debate over Iran tensions by openly praising the 2020 killing of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, calling him a “strong general” while acknowledging his influence and reach. Speaking at a White House event, Trump said U.S. actions against Iran would not have been possible if Soleimani were still alive, underscoring Washington’s view of the former IRGC commander as a central threat. Soleimani was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Baghdad on January 3, 2020 — an event that continues to shape U.S.–Iran hostilities.

'Resistance Missile Destroyed US Aircraft': Iran Military's Bombshell After KC-135 Aircraft Crash

Pro-Iran resistance groups claim they shot down the US military's KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft with a missile over western Iraq on March 12 during a mission linked to Operation Epic Fury. It also claimed that all crew members on board were killed. However, the United States Central Command has denied that the crash was caused by hostile or friendly fire and says rescue and recovery teams were immediately deployed to the crash site. Officials have not yet confirmed the number of crew members or their condition. The KC-135 — a key aerial refueling aircraft used by the United States Air Force and built by Boeing — has been a backbone of U.S. long-range air operations for more than six decades.
