A major setback has hit U.S. military operations in the Middle East amid the escalating conflict with Iran. A Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft operated by the United States Air Force has crashed in western Iraq during an ongoing mission. According to United States Central Command, the incident occurred in friendly airspace during Operation Epic Fury, involving two aircraft — one landed safely while the other went down. Officials said the crash was not caused by hostile or friendly fire, and rescue operations were underway at the crash site.
