Chaitra Navratri 2026 Colours: 9 colors for 9 days of Navratri and significance
As we all know that Navratri started on March 19, 2026 and it will end with Raam Navami, which is going to be celebrated on March 27, 2026. People are preparing for the Navratri festival. These nine day long festival is purely dedicated to worship Goddess Durga. Devotees honor nine different forms of Maa Durga during these days. From Shailputri to Siddhidatri, nine manifestations of Maa Durga is worshipped by the devotees with immense devotion and purity. These days symbolize the victory of good over evil. These days are very sacred and there's a tradition to wear specific color each day of Navratri that is believed to bring prosperity, happiness and attract divine blessings. Each day of Navratri is associated with a specific Goddess. Devotees are advised to wear particular color to align with the energy of each goddess and enhance spiritual vibrations.
Day 1: Yellow Colour
Goddess Shailputri
Significance: Happiness, joy, and prosperity are symbolized by the color yellow. To boost spiritual energy on this auspicious day, devotees are encouraged to dress in yellow.
Day 2: Green
Goddess Brahmacharini
Significance: Green is a hue associated with fertility, growth, fresh starts, and new beginnings. On this day, devotees should worship Goddess Durga with great devotion while wearing this color. Day 3: Grey
Goddess Chandraghanta
