The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) has opened applications for its online housing lottery, offering a chance for thousands of Maharashtra residents to own homes in Navi Mumbai at subsidised rates. CIDCO, incorporated on March 17, 1970 and fully owned by the Maharashtra government, is the state’s designated New Town Development Authority (NTDA) and Special Development Authority (SDA). Over the years, it has built a reputation as India’s premier town planning agency and is widely recognised as the architect behind Navi Mumbai. The corporation now offers homes across some of the city’s most sought-after locations, in multiple configurations to suit varying budgets and preferences.The booking deadline is March 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM IST.Here's how you can apply for the CIDCO housing scheme today

Register online

Visit the CIDCO portal and register using your mobile number with Aadhaar-linked OTP verification. Submit Aadhaar and PAN numbers, income proof, domicile certificate, and any category-specific documents. Pay a one-time non-refundable registration fee of Rs 236 (inclusive of GST).
Verify eligibility

Once registration is complete, CIDCO verifies your documents and confirms your eligibility to participate in the lottery.

Select preferences

During the 15-day booking window, choose your preferred homes. Applicants can pick up to 15 options across three lottery rounds, specifying location, tower, and floor preferences.

Pay booking amount

Confirm your participation by paying the required booking amount:
Rs 75,000 for EWS units
Rs 1.5 lakh for LIG 1 BHK units
Rs 2 lakh for LIG 2 BHK units
Participate in the lottery

After payment, your choices enter the computerised CIDCO lottery. Selected applicants are allotted homes based on their preferences and eligibility.
