Gripping first half. India lead 1-0
Well, after a lazy start, India have picked the pace brilliantly. Reolant Oltmans moved Jasjit Kular from defence to midfield and it led to a plethora of attacks. After a couple of closes misses, India finally scored through Pardeep Mor. Sardar Singh has been kept relatively quiet, while Rupinder Pal Singh and Surender Kumar have looked threatening.

Here's what Rupinder has to say at the end of the 1st half: I think we have to get more out of our attacks. We're getting better and it's time to make it capitalise.
16:41 (IST) Oct 23
Sloppy from Pakistan

India make their presence felt
In a small counter-attack, India's Akashdeep gives Pakistan a couple of nervous moments near the goalpost. Pakistan's defence, usually well organised, appears slightly rattled. But somehow, the danger is averted. India showing good possession.
16:14 (IST) Oct 23
Early penalty corner
Three minutes into the game and we have put first penalty corner of the match that belongs to Pakistan. Hard hit saved well by Sreejesh who regroups well and saves it again on the rebound. Pakistan continue to attack frequently, India caught off guard early.
