The only visible part of your existence is your own body, neither can you see your mind nor your soul. But the visible dimension of your self is only a gathered mass of earth. You eat food, which is a manifestation of earth itself, and it becomes your body after digestion. Every atom in your body was earth once. This is the reason why your body changes when the season changes and the terrain changes. Your body reacts just like how earth reacts to external changes. Your body and earth are deeply connected and it is no different.
The earth element makes you, develops you, cures you and sustains you. It is just arranged in certain pattern by your own bio energy, and this arrangement would collapse with death and your body goes back to soil from where it came from, distorted. Your heath is a factor that depends on your connection to the elements of earth.
The stronger your connections are, better will be your bodies healing capacity and immune mechanism. These bodily connections can harness the mother earth’s healing energies. The energy transfer between your body and the earth is known to happen through an energy spot known as muladhara chakra.
This is the chakra that is located at the extreme base of your spine.
It connects your energy system to the earth elements. A healthy and a balanced root chakra can lead to a stronger and healthy body. Each and every atom in your body can turn into a natural healer. It would even slow down your ageing considerably. If you wish to have a disease free body, work on this chakra.
Here are few ways through which you can work on your muladhara chakra.
1. Walking barefoot on grass or on smooth earth surface
The feel of touch between the ground and your feet can activate the energies of your root chakra. It can make you feel more close to earth elements.
2. Asanas which can compress and stretch lower spine can help in removing energy blockages from the muladhara chakra area.
Asanas like Sukhasana - malasana, janu sirsasana, dhanurvakraasan should be practiced regularly.
3. Ashwini mudhra
This is an excellent practice to activate your base.
Sit in sukhasana or lie down in pranyama number 4 position.
Exhale out completely and contract your anal muscle and release it. Do this contraction-relaxation 10 times and then relax.
4) Meditating on sound of frequency 392 hz
Every chakra has its resonant frequency. Meditating on sounds of specific frequency can activate specific chakras. The muldhara chakra resonates on 392 hz, hence meditating on sound of 392 hz can trigger this chakra.
All the above techniques shall keep your root chakra in balance. An imbalanced muladhara can cause feeling of insecurity and lack of sense of belonging to the world and vice versa.
Being fearless, being physically strong and being immune to infections are the need of the hour. Hence, activate your muladhara, stay grounded , stay close to nature and stay healthy.
