
Kala Sukha Mutton is a traditional Maharashtrian dish. It is made with minimal spices and offers the top notch taste with nutrition. Scroll down to read the simple and easy recipe.

20 ml mustard oil, 4 onions, 50 gms ginger, 70 gms garlic, 50 gms coriander, 100 gms coconut, 20 gms roasted green chilli, 2 tbsp coriander leaves, 500 gms mutton, 80 gms ginger garlic paste, 20 gms coriander powder, 30 gms curd, 5 gms turmeric powder, 5 gms Kashmiri red chilli, 5 gms garam masala, 20 gms Maharashtrian spices, salt to taste, and 20 ml lemon juice.

First of all, wash the mutton pieces, pat dry, and set them aside.

In a big mixing bowl, add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, curd, and all the spices. Mix well.

Add the mutton pieces, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well and let it rest for 30 minutes.

In the meantime, heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan and saute onion for 30 seconds.

Make a paste of ginger, garlic, coriander leaves, coconut, and green chilli. Add it to the oil mixture and cook until cooked well.

Next, add the marinated mutton pieces, adjust the salt, cover and cook for 20-25 minutes or until the mutton pieces are cooked well.

Garnish with some ginger julienne and coriander leaves. Serve hot with roti and enjoy!
