Easy Paneer stuffed Beetroot Paratha

Looking for a protein and iron-rich immunity boosting paratha recipe? Give this simple and easy recipe a try, which is made with mashed paneer and beetroot puree. Packed with essential vitamins like vitamin C, folate, and minerals such as potassium and iron, beetroot supports overall health and vitality. Its high amount of dietary fiber helps keep your digestion healthy, and the natural antioxidants, like betalains, can lower inflammation and protect your cells from damage. It is a good source of iron too and plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health. It is a key component of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells responsible for carrying oxygen throughout the body, and myoglobin, which supplies oxygen to muscles. According to the USDA data, raw beetroot contains about 0.8 mg of iron per 100 g. Take a look at the simple recipe.

Ingredients required


1 cup whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup paneer, 1/2 cup beetroot puree,salt to taste, pepper to taste, 1 onion, 2 green chilli, 1 tbsp coriander leaves, and oil for cooking

Boil 1 beetroot, blend it into puree and set it aside.

Add flour into a mixing bowl along with salt and pepper and knead a soft dough using the beetroot puree.

In another mixing bowl, mash paneer well and add chopped onion, coriander, salt, pepper, and green chilli to it. Mix well.

Divide the dough into small balls and fill them with 2 tbsp of the paneer mixture.

Roll out parathas using a rolling pin and flour dust.

Cook the parathas on a preheated tawa using enough oil.
