The most awaited night of the year, finally came into existence on Sunday and as expected, Bollywood divas put their best foot forward to set the red carpet on fire! The 62nd Jio Filmfare Awards were given away yesterday and the black beauty (read the trophy) met with some serious competition from B-Town babes. Alia Bhatt: Not only did she pick up the trophy in the Best Actor (Female) category for her powerhouse performance in Udta Punjab, Alia left everybody impressed with her classic choice for the night. Alia wore an elegant Prabal Gurung gown with a voluminous bottom and added finishing touches to her look with simple jewellery from Anmol.

Parineeti Chopra: Though she still has a long way to go to match up with her stylish elder sister, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti sprung a surprise with her choice for the gala evening - a bright pink gown by Mark Bumgarner, a popular Filipino designer. What was eye-catching was the bow on the gown and everything else was simple to the core.

Shilpa Shetty: Defying age at 41, Shilpa looked as stunning as ever in an interesting yellow Manish Malhotra creation. Ruffled and boasting a thigh-high slit, it not only accentuated Shilpa's enviable body but got her the maximum number of eyeballs.
