Aishwarya Rai Bachchan doesn’t step out very often these days. But when she does, people notice. And somehow, the moment turns into a fashion conversation almost instantly.


That’s exactly what happened on March 5 in Mumbai, when Aishwarya arrived with Abhishek Bachchan at the wedding of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok. The couple’s appearance quickly caught the attention of photographers and guests outside the venue. Partly because they don’t make too many public appearances together anymore. Aishwarya chose a powder-blue anarkali by Manish Malhotra. Soft, flowing and quietly dramatic. The kalidar silhouette moved beautifully as she walked, and the delicate floral Jamali embroidery shimmered under the lights. Inspired by Pachchikari-style detailing, the embroidery added texture without overpowering the look.
