Anant Ambani’s 2025: Pilgrim welfare, spiritual outreach and Vantara’s conservation efforts

2025 was marked by a series of faith-led, welfare, and conservation initiatives, reflecting spirituality, public service, and institutional engagement for Anant Ambani. The Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited, Anant Ambani undertook a 140-kilometre padyatra in Gujarat, between Jamnagar and Dwarka, as part of a regional spiritual outreach effort, the journey passed through several towns along the route and drew participation from local communities.

Public welfare measures also featured prominently during the Maha Kumbh, one of the world’s largest religious gatherings. Large-scale arrangements were implemented to support the influx of pilgrims, focusing on safety, essential services, and access management. These measures reflected a growing emphasis on structured planning and on-ground coordination in managing high-footfall events, showcasing practical applications of service-oriented initiatives during mass gatherings.






Conservation emerged as a key focus in 2025, with Vantara, a wildlife conservation and rehabilitation initiative, receiving national recognition and being inaugurated by our Prime Minister. The initiative aims to strengthen wildlife care, rehabilitation, and conservation infrastructure, aligning with broader national priorities around environmental sustainability. During the year, Vantara also drew attention from several international personalities who visited the facility to gain insight into India’s conservation practices and sustainability models.

In parallel, Anant Ambani expanded his leadership responsibilities as Executive Director of Reliance Industries Ltd, reflecting ongoing organisational developments within one of India’s largest conglomerates. The year highlighted a convergence between institutional leadership and involvement in social, faith-led, and environmental initiatives, demonstrating the multifaceted ways in which service and stewardship can be operationalised.
