PM Modi hails the SC verdict

PM Narendra Modi welcomed the Sc verdict and posted a statement on X which said, "Today's Supreme Court verdict on the abrogation of Article 370 is historic and constitutionally upholds the decision taken by the Parliament of India on 5th August 2019; it is a resounding declaration of hope, progress and unity for our sisters and brothers in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The Court, in its profound wisdom, has fortified the very essence of unity that we, as Indians, hold dear and cherish above all else. Amit Shah praises the Sc verdict

"I welcome the Honorable Supreme Court of India's verdict upholding the decision to abolish #Article370. On the 5th of August 2019, PM @narendramodi Ji took a visionary decision to abrogate #Article370. Since then peace and normalcy have returned to J&K. Rajnath Singh says, 'decision will make every Indian happy'

Defence minister Rajnath Singh welcomed the historic decision of the SC on Article 370 and said that the decision will make every Indian happy. JP Nadda 'welcomes the decision'

BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, in a social media post, welcomed the Supreme Court's verdict that upheld the Union Government's decision to abrogate Article 370 of the Constitution. "The Bharatiya Janata Party welcomes the decision given by the Supreme Court regarding Article 370. On SC verdict on Article 370, J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina says "A historical judgement has been made on Article 370. It has stated clearly that the fundamental rights granted in the Constitution shall apply to all the citizens living in J&K...I think there should not be any kind of politics on this judgment. 'People will easily get the benefits of all the government', says Ladakh MP Jamyang Namgyal

"SC has said very important things, one of them is that Jammu and Kashmir has no sovereignty within India. So, the removal of Article 370 by PM Modi in 2019 was exactly as per the Constitution of India. This increases the confidence in the Prime Minister because from the very beginning we wanted it to become an integral part of India which was stopped by Article 370," Jamyang Tsering Namgyal said.
