Maharashtra govt's task force to study digital addiction and its adverse impact on children
MUMBAI: Amid growing concerns over "digital addiction" among children and its adverse effects, the Maharashtra government has decided to constitute an expert task force to study the issue and recommend measures, state IT Minister Ashish Shelar told the legislative council on Wednesday.
He also cited a study indicating a significant rise in gaming addiction among children in urban and rural Maharashtra.
