Dattatreya writes to CM over allocation of govt lands to SEZs

HYDERABAD: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Bandaru Dattatreya on Sunday wrote a letter to chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy urging him to order a full-fledged enquiry into the allocation of government lands to special economic zones (SEZs), ports and industries.
Insisting that the government constitute a house committee to probe all government land allocations, the BJP leader said there was prima facie evidence that the land given to industries and SEZs had landed in the hands of real estate developers, contrary to the purpose of creating jobs in the past seven years.
