UGC NET Result 2024 Highlights: NTA to release UGC NET scorecards and final answer key soon on the official website
UGC NET Result 2024 Highlights : The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NTA UGC NET result 2024 on the official website soon. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer keys for the UGC NET exams conducted from August 27 to September 4, 2024. The provisional answer keys for exams held on August 21, 22, and 23, 2024, were also released earlier.
Those who wish to contest the provisional answers may do so by submitting a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question. A panel of experts will review the challenges, and if any are deemed valid, the answer keys will be updated accordingly. The UGC NET provisional answer key extended window has closed and now the scorecards, cut off are expected to be issued by the concerned authorities on the official site. The final UGC NET results will be based on these revised keys, and candidates will not receive individual notifications regarding their challenges.
For the UGC NET exam, each correct answer was awarded two marks, with no deductions for incorrect responses. Questions left unanswered, unattempted, or marked for review did not receive any points. In cases where questions were ambiguous or had multiple correct answers, candidates received credit for any correct choice. If a question was deemed incorrect and removed from consideration, two marks were given to those who had answered it. As there was no penalty for wrong answers, candidates were encouraged to select the best possible responses.
After the results are published on the official website, the candidates will be able to access it by entering the application number and date of birth.
