UK tech firm Smiths Group to help make Covid-19 antibody test

Britain's Smiths Group on Wednesday said it would help produce a blood-based Covid-19 antibody test approved by the country's regulators, another move by the technology firm to develop products to combat the pandemic. The London-listed company said it has agreed with biopharmaceutical firm Attomarker, for an undisclosed amount, to make its portable, triple antibody test device at unit Smiths Detection's site in Hemel Hempstead, England.

Cabinet approves development of Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (AHRCs) for urban migrants/poor as a sub-scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Urban

To begin with, over 1 lakh readily available houses will be given on rent to migrant workers by the municipal corporations. In this phase, another 1 lakh one-bedroom houses will be built. Private property owners who create such facilities will get 50% more Floor Area Ratio (FAR). There will also be a provision of a dormitory of 6 persons under this scheme.
