I think no Punjabi believes the exit polls. Opinion polls and exit polls should be banned. EC monitors that voters aren't influenced, but nowadays some govts get opinion polls conducted using public money. AAP has done this.
The real task is result declaration. EC has issued a counting schedule which will start at 8 am tomorrow, March 10. Thousands of our workers have been given round wise training. Counting is a systematic work requiring precision and patience.
As most exit polls have predicted that neither BJP nor Congress would get a clear majority in Uttarakhand, top central leaders of the two parties have started arriving in the hill state to “manage” the situation arising after the counting of votes on March 10. Sources in the two parties told TOI the “seniors are there to take swift decisions, including on post-poll tie-ups”.
