Once More Kaurava Movie Review

Kiran is an honest and sincere inspector who gets posted in a town that has many misgivings. While he tries to set things right and also finds love, he also discovers that this is the place that has made him an orphan and he has to avenge his parents' killing.

S Mahender is back on the screen telling the tale of another Kaurava. This time around, he has newbie Naresh Gowda playing the lead and he is the righteous policeman who is in a town full of corruption and hatred. Will this cop succeed in accomplishing what he hopes to eradicate?

This story is akin to the tales of sentiment, familial ties and revenge and retribution that Mahender is known for. Kiran is the policeman who is the epitome of goodness and honesty and his good virtues, we learn in due course, run in his family - with his father Huliyappa aka Kaurava being a person everyone looks up to. Kiran also learns about how his family was wronged. The story then follows his mission to get justice.

The story seems two decades too old, but it has nostalgia value of the old tales of the 90s and early 2000s. But this alone doesn't suffice enough entertainment and newbie Naresh, despite giving his all, seems a little too rigid in front of the camera. R Anusha is pleasing to watch and impresses.

The film is for those who like their good old tales of emotion, melodrama and revenge. But do be warned that the film is can get too slow paced in parts.
