'Mai uski padhai mein madad karna chahta hoon': Anand Mahindra reaches out to Nainital's young magician viral for his tricks
Social media has the power of thousands of humans if used correctly. Through it, word and message can travel far and wide and reach the right places. Recently, a video of a little magician in Nainital has touched many hearts with emotion and amazement.
Now, industrialist Anand Mahindra has expressed his desire to support the young man, whose remarkable tricks have left the viewers impressed. The business tycoon took to X to share a video of the boy, identified as Sahil, performing a series of street magic tricks on a paved walkway in Nainital. The clip showed the boy dressed in a grey T-shirt and jeans, confidently entertaining and addressing the crowd with his skills.
In the video, Sahil uses small metal bowls, a wand, a coin and tiny red balls as a part of his routine. He makes the balls appear, disappear and move between the bowls with a surprising and smooth ease. He also engages with the audience throughout the act, drawing laughter and amazement from those watching. At one point, he pretends to retrieve a coin from a spectator’s shoe, ear and nose, leaving the crowd amused.
His act and flair impressed Mahindra, who said he not only wanted to help Sahil with his education but also encourage his interest in magic. "Yeh ladka bahut talented hai. Kya woh abhi bhi Nainital ki sadkon par kaam kar raha hai? Main na sirf uski padhai mein madad karna chahta hoon, balki jaadu mein uski dilchaspi ko bhi badhava dena chahta hoon. Kyon na woh duniya ke behtareen jaadugaron mein se ek bane? Kya koi mujhe usse aur uske mata pita se sampark karne mein madad kar sakta hai? "Sir, I'll try to find out. My relatives live in Haldwani, I'll contact them and get the information" said one.
"Bacha hoo Pet ke liye karta hoo That hurt like a dagger right in the heart," added another.
"No one can recognise the talent of such children, I think. Now this kid is going to become famous because of Anand sir, and that's even better!" one said.
"This country really needs people like you, sir Earning money is a good thing, but earning a name is something everyone should learn from you Truly, you are a real Indian May you keep progressing well—this is our prayer," wrote one.
"I’m happy to chip in but want him only to focus on studies. Rest can come as his hobby" said a user.
