A customer placed an order at Munchies Eston in the UK, it listed all things from pizza, waffles drowning in chocolate sauce, and ice cream, a total diet-breaker feast.



But the most hilariously adorable part came when the delivery note said, "Knock quietly, I'm supposed to be on a diet." NDTV Food says it was just for the rider's eyes, so no one at home would catch the customer sneaking their treat. The New York Post says the driver played along perfectly with a super-quiet drop-off, secret totally safe.

Restaurant owner shares the fun order

Restaurant owner Waseem Banaras captured a photo of the receipt and posted it online, calling it too good not to share. "The delivery driver definitely honoured the request. We couldn't possibly betray the customer's trust," he told New York Post. Munchies Eston staff chuckled at the honesty, spotting it on a Just Eat printout from late 2023 that exploded again in 2026.



Banaras explained to the New York Post, "I found it hilarious. It felt like something we would all do!" That blend of funny and real is why it clicked with so many. Munchies Eston's Instagram kept reposting the receipt, one caption nailing the buzz: "Didn’t expect this!"


A quiet knock request started as a secret note but became a worldwide meme about diets, midnight munchies, and confessions customers only make to delivery folks.
