Vizag-born
Satyadev Kancharana is gradually stamping his authority as a versatile actor in Telugu cinema who can slip into any role, be it a protagonist, character artist or antagonist. After bagging critical acclaim for his effective portrayal of a 40-year-old in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, Satyadev eventually got noticed with Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ in 2015. Thereafter, he went on to deliver impressive performances in films like Bluff Master and Brochevarevarura.
Currently gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya’, Satyadev has recently met his idol and inspiration,
Chiranjeevi at the latter’s residence in Hyderabad. Admitting that he is yet to come out from the euphoria as it still feels like a dream to interact with his favourite actor, Satyadev penned down a heartfelt note and mentioned his experiences of idolising the Megastar of Telugu cinema since childhood. Sharing the same on social media, he captioned the post “On July 8th, 2020 I had the extreme privilege of meeting my Idol and the reason behind my aspiration to become an actor Megastar 'annaya' Chiranjeevi garu @KChiruTweets My thoughts...”
In the note, the young actor wrote “Everybody starting their journey to climb Mount Everest will certainly have fear and doubts as they might be several hurdles and dangers along the way.
Unable to bear the hard experience, some might think of giving up midway. However, a flag can be seen waving high on the Everest and at that moment, an unknown energy and confidence occupies us to accomplish the task. For thousands of actors like me who wish to make big on the silver screen, Chiranjeevi is like that flag.”
Satyadev’s upcoming film ‘Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya’ is the remake of Malayalam hit film Maheshinte Prathikaram. Bankrolled by Baahubali producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, the comedy-drama is directed by Venkatesh Maha, the man behind the critically acclaimed film ‘C/O Kancharapalem’. While the teaser and the lyrical video of Ningi Chutte have already bagged glowing praises from all quarters, the film is rumoured to be out on OTT platform soon.
