Following the big win, several film celebrities, including Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Rishab Shetty, and Allu Arjun, took to social media to celebrate the team’s effort and congratulate them on the memorable win.

Jr NTR praises team’s dominance

Jr NTR, celebrating the team’s dominance in the tournament, wrote on his X (formerly Twitter), “This is how our Men in Blue showed up with calm, composure and dominance throughout the tournament … and brought the trophy home again and created history… Congratulations Team India ����. Mahesh Babu took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “What was that!!! ‘Peddi’ star Ram Charan wrote, “The champions stay champions. Defending the #T20WorldCup in style with fearless, aggressive cricket. What a team. What a moment for India.” His father and Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi also wrote, “Congratulations to Team India on lifting the T20 World Cup 2026! Rishab Shetty congratulates the team

Rishab Shetty also took to his social media handle to congratulate the team. “Congratulations to the Indian Cricket team, T20 World Cup CHAMPIONS!” wrote the ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ actor.
